    To Whom It May Concern:

I am looking for information on my Great Grandfather Fortunato Leonardo Sculco born in 1854 to Domenico Sculco and Anna Ruzzuto in Italy.
The Birth records copy that I have is from Commune di Corgiliano Calabro. I am looking for information on his parents for my Family Tree.
Fortunato and Maria married in 1879 in Italy. Fortunato came to the USA in 1890 with his wife Maria Bellecca and Son Frank George Sculco. Fortunato was in the Italian Army for 2 years.
Rose had 2 sisters Rose and Felomina and brother Angelo. Her sisters married brothers named Napole.

If you can provide me with any information on where to look, I would greatly appreciate it. This information was provided by a cousin who has passed on and we don’t have any living family relatives who can help with this information.

I am looking for the Spina Family from Pietrafitta, Cosenza, Calabria. I have looked at most of the Calabrian links on this site, but, none of them list Pietrafitta under their cities. Can you please help and tell me where to look?

Hi, I am looking for children of Antonio Ferdinando Branca born in 1850 and Maria Rogato born in 1851 in Trenta. I found 1 birth – Achille Branca born in 1873 in Trenta. I cannot find anything in reference to the town of Trenta. Can you tell me where to look? Thank you.

  • I would try the Cosenza Archive site. They may not have originated in Pietrafitta so I would start with what you know and work backwards. It’s tedious but I believe it’s your best shot. Good luck!

Hi, I am looking for any living Noia relatives in Sicily My great great grandfather was born 1862 in San Lorenzo Bellizzi, Cosenza, Italy Giuseppe Noia . My grandfather was Nicola Noia born 1890. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

  • You have a couple of different options. You can register and do a search from the Cosenza Archives site directly (where you with also be able to order records directly) or you may want to try Family Search. If all else fails you will need to write to the Comune directly, in Italian and request the documents. Hope this helps!
