  • Luigi:

The website about surnames should be faster

By the genealogical maternal line, ours ancestors showed the surnames Ybana-Severino, which are registered in many old documents, being as follow:
YBANA: French-catalonian surname, which is mentioned at first time at IX century (Ybana’s valley, Catalunya) during Carolingio Empire expansion against Arabs; although, The Italian Genealogical Group NYC considers the Ybana surname as italian.
SEVERINO: Italian surname originating of Campania, Nápoles and Salerno, being the city of Mercato San Severino in Salerno the place where was born this surname. The Norman Turgisio was the first Severino (or Sanseverino), who take his surname from name of the valley San Severino and its old castle, being Turgisio di Sanseverino after, Lord & Count of that valley and its castle (XI century). The Severino and Sanseverino of the world become related for this common ancestor.

    …Our great-grandparents:
    Victoriano Ybana Severino (1886-1921)
    Teodosia Severino Romero (1891-1953)

    Our grandparents:
    Emilio Ybana Severino (1916-2003)
    Exaltación Ybana Severino (1918-2004)
    Felipe Ybana Severino (1915-2009)

    Our parents:
    Eulogio Vilca Cerda (78)
    Yrene Ybana Poma (74)

We hope to be attentives for sharing information,

  • Hi Luigi – Have you been having problems with it because there’s very little to slow it down so I’m not sure what the exact problem is. Perhaps it your internet provider? Is anyone else having this problem? I haven’t received any other complaints.

  • Hector Babilonia:

Hello: I want to know if the Babilonia surname from Sicily is in your database. Thanks a lot.
